At the beginning of the 2021-22 school year, St. Joseph School, along with all other schools in the Diocese of Superior, moved to a new model of governance.  The Education Committee has been replaced by the St. Joseph Catholic School Executive Board.

The Executive Board consults with and provides advice to the Pastor and the Principal.  The Executive Board is responsible for supporting the Catholic identity, enrollment, marketing, human resources, capital improvements, and fiscal management of the Catholic school.
The Executive Board is selected by the Pastor to provide a diversity of experiences and opinions.  The effort is made to involve Catholic parents of SJS graduates, parents with middle school students, elementary and primary students.
The at-large members of the Board are:
  • Aleesha Drost,
  • Jeremy Peterson
  • Laura Smith

Our priests, principal, cluster business administrator, and advancement director also attend board meetings.
