Robotics Summer Camp and Fall Team Sign Up
Join Robotics!
Join us this summer and Fall 2023 for Robotics Club! We will be hosting a Robotics Club camp the week of July 11-14th. The Robotics Camp is great for beginners to get a taste of Robotics before committing to the full season in the Fall. Our Spartan Robotics Team will be forming and starting its season in September. Robotics Summer Camp
Tuesday, July 11 – Friday, July 14th from 9:30 am – 11:30 am
What: Join the Warrior Robotics Advisor, Jeremy “Pete” Peterson, and several Warrior Robotics high school team members to conduct a VEX IQ summer robotics mini-camp for St. Joseph 3rd – 8th-grade students. Any students who are interested in trying out robotics or improving their robotics coding abilities are invited! This camp is limited to 14 students.
Who should sign up? : This camp is geared for beginners to VEX IQ robotics. Any 3rd – 8th grade student who wants to try out robotics before committing to the Spartan Robotics Club for the 23-24 school year should consider attending. As well, current Spartan Robotics Club Members who want to improve their coding skills should also sign up.
Cost: $30/student

Robotics Club (Begins Fall 2023)
Meets most Thursdays from 5:45 – 7:30 pm starting September 14th – end of January
What: 3rd-8th Grade Students Work in Small Teams to Learn to Build and Program VEX IQ Robots for Participation in Two Regional Competitions Run by Parent and Volunteer Mentors assisted by Warrior Robotics Team Members.
When/Where: The club will meet Most Thursdays from 5:45-7:30 pm in the school gym Starting Sept. 14 th. The season generally runs from September-the end of January with some teams earning the opportunity to qualify for the State tournament or beyond in the spring.
