How long have you been teaching at SJS and what is your educational background?

I've been teaching at SJS since 2024. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Indiana University – South Bend.

Why did I become a teacher?

It took me a while to listen, but God had been calling me to teaching for a long time. I love connecting with students, sharing new skills, and seeing their excitement when learning clicks!

Why do I love working at SJS?

SJS is a supportive, joyful, and thriving community full of people who truly believe in what they do.

What does student success look like to me?

Engagement, problem-solving, and curiosity! Success means understanding that learning is a process and being willing to persevere through challenges.

Favorite Sports Team or Hobby?

Playing clarinet and piano, learning new instruments, reading, and crafting.
