Who Can Join?

Students entering grades 3-8 can participate in this four-day robotics camp led by Jeremy “Pete” Peterson and Warrior Robotics high school students.

Camp Details

Dates: Monday, June 29th – Thursday, July 2nd
Location: St. Joseph School Gym
Cost: $60 per student (includes snacks, equipment use, and high school helpers)

Beginner Camp (Grades 3-5 & New Students)

Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

  • Open to incoming 3rd through 5th graders and students new to VEX IQ / robotics.
  • Focus: Gaining comfort with the VEX IQ Code and building strategies with fun daily competitions.
  • Great for those curious about robotics but not ready to join a competitive team.

Advanced Camp (Grades 6-8 & Returning Students)

Time: 1:00–4:00 PM

  • Open to incoming 6th-8th graders committed to joining a competitive team.
  • Focus: Advanced building strategies, including working with pneumatics, PTO systems, and vision sensor coding

  • Sign up by June 1 (or until full)
